Dexter Waltz
Biography
Dexter Waltz is a pastor and teacher serving at the International Bible Church of Armenia in Yerevan. Since 2018 he has faithfully served the local church, with an early focus on children, youth, families, and college students — investing deeply in the spiritual formation of the next generation and in the strengthening of the home. During his years of ministry in the United States, he led parenting seminars, organized Fellowship of Christian Athletes events, and started college ministries in Southern California. Over time his ministry has expanded into a broader pastoral calling centered on leading, preaching, and shepherding the church as a whole.
In early 2026, Dexter relocated to Armenia with his wife Jessica and their four children to serve IBCA as Lead Pastor and Teaching Elder. His ministry is devoted to equipping believers with strong biblical literacy and supporting the development of healthy, gospel-centered churches through church-planting efforts. He is passionate about the faithful exposition of Scripture and the care of Christ’s people, seeking to see both individuals and families rooted and growing in their faith.
His ministry is focused on serving both local Armenians and expatriates from surrounding nations, with a desire to see the church strengthened for lasting gospel impact. Dexter is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Union School of Theology in South Wales. He holds a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with a focus in apologetics and evangelism, a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Theology, and an Associate degree in Missiology and Theology from Bethany Global University. His academic training reflects a deep commitment to both theological clarity and mission-focused ministry.
